That being said, I know I have to look to the future, and reflect on the past mistakes I made. There’s no denying that I’m quite a lazy person… but I guess that has to change- Once I get in uni, I cannot be as lazy a person anymore. Another thing that I realized is that in this world, everybody looks at your results…people will look down on you if your results are horrible.

And there are certainly others who will attemt to discourage you from pursuing your dreams and goals. I really recommend anyone to watch “Strictly Ballroom”.

It’s a movie with loads of passion which is revealed in the main actor’s and actresses’ dancing. Actually, I didn’t even know that such a movie existed, till I watched it on my flight back to Singapore on Quantas…

 The best parts are:

- when Scott says, ” I want to dance with you, Fran. I don’t care about wining the Pan-pacific grand priz, I just want to dance our steps.”

-when Scott’s father tells him that he spent his whole life living in fear because he didn’t dare to dance his steps in the championship, and Scott runs out to find Fran instead of dancing with Tina Sparkle, choosing passion over fame.

-the corrupted dance chairman tells them to leave the dance floor, Scott’s father Doug starts clapping a 4-beat rhythm of the paso doble, and evetually every claps along. Scott and Fran defy the chairman and remain on the dance floor.

 - The paso doble which is the biggest highlight of the show!

The movie’s tagline is: “A life lived in fear, is a life half-lived” and I think this really applies to all of us in this dog-eat-dog world of ours. Of course, you have to get the basic stuff first, like your degree, but after that, don’t be afraid to pursue your passion, no matter what.

There are so many things I have to do, including going on  the outing thing. I can make it for the whole of Jan except 5th and 6th. So far, I haven’t got any emails from my friend even though i did send him… which I can only conclude that he’s on a holiday or he’s angry and doesn’t want to have anything to do with me? Anyways, to all who are reading this, Merry christmas in advance!

In the headlines the next day, there was even a photo of some guy wakeboarding!!! and he was holding on to a rope attached to a jeep and the guy was being towed on the water!LOL

Leaving Singapore on the 20th…nothing else to say except I’m kind of disappointed that I can’t spend more time with my friends. I wanted to go lan gaming with Michel and Chunkit, and go for the outing with my 4 guys, but it seems that i won’t be able to do so now:(
